Cahalen Morrison, oorspronkelijk uit de woestijn van New Mexico, is een multi-instrumentalist die vrijwel alles met snaren bespeelt binnen het gebied van country, folkblues en bluegrass. Met 15 jaar tourervaring (solo, met Eli West, of in de supergroep Western Centuries) deelde hij het podium met vele grootheden als David Grisman, Jerry Douglas en Tim O’Brien, die over hem zei: “Cahalen is making music the world needs.” Nu woont hij in Glasgow, maar zijn muziek blijft grensverleggend. Cahalen werkt aan een nieuw album dat naar verwachting eind 2026 zal verschijnen.

Liv & Cahalen kennen elkaar vanuit de VS en zullen ieders eigen nummers spelen en elkaar begeleiden tijdens deze tour.

Cahalen Morrison, originally from the deserts of New Mexico, is a multi-instrumentalist who plays virtually every stringed instrument within the realms of country, folk blues, and bluegrass. With 15 years of touring experience — solo, with Eli West, or in the supergroup Western Centuries — he has shared the stage with greats such as David Grisman, Jerry Douglas, and Tim O’Brien, who once said: “Cahalen is making music the world needs.” He now lives in Glasgow, but his music continues to push boundaries. Cahalen is currently working on a new album, expected to be released at the end of 2026.

Liv & Cahalen know each other from the United States and, during this tour, they will perform each other’s songs as well as accompany one another on stage.
