Grammy winnaar Mike Farris heeft een dijk van een stem en mixt Blues, soul, americana en een beetje gospel in zijn muziek. Zijn stem doet je soms denken aan die van Al Green, Sam Cooke of Otis Redding maar zijn muziek is meer veelzijdig. Hij doet alles met zo vreselijk veel passie. Niet voor niets won hij in 2015 een Grammy voor zijn geweldige album Shine For All The People.
